The introduction of Grade 40 rebars bring with it the required strength and cost of construction value which were not attainable in the past. Moreover, the use of Grade 40 rebars strengthen structures in a way that mitigates the risk of damage caused by natural calamities or other factors.
Nomee Steel produces Grade 60 deformed steel bars according to ASTM a615 and ASTM a706 standards. Grade 60 rebars have higher tensile strength that makes them stronger. With a new trend of high-rise buildings, the mega projects arising out of the need for infrastructure development

Our Process
1. Raw material sourced from different countries (shredded, HMS, Plate and Structure, etc.).
2. Charging of scrap into a re-melting furnace.
3. Sample for chemical testing during melting process.
4. Molten metal tapped into the ladle.
5. Ladle moved to CCM for casting of billets.
6. Billet collection for heat wise stacking.
7. Final sample for chemical testing.
8. Billets fed to the reheating furnace.
9. Billets rolled to deformed bars.
10. Physical testing during production.
11. Deformed bars shifted to storage/dispatched.

Quality System
As a minimum, all processes within the Quality System of Nomee Steel have been documented, which comply with ISO 9001 : 2000. The primary and supporting responsibilities for each functional group and department are described in the Management out: Responsibility Practice. The responsibility for ensuring compliance lies with the quality representative.
Quality Assurance
A strict quality control and stage inspection coupled with repetitive tests ensures quality of the processes resulting to quality of product. This guarantees the conformance of product to internationally accepted standards / specifications. Quality of the end product is checked and monitored by repeated sampling in working hours.
